Activities
Here you can find brief explanations on the contributions
to the various projects.
Archetype
The archetype is the basis of the singularity. In other
words: it is the wave which the "ship" (the
individual) "rides". The archetype is the "first"
appearing from the infinite (collective) - in the form
of differentiation - and therefore the first distinguishable
element. It is the foundation in the material dimension
on which the individuality - the self - is based and from
where it emerges.
Cf. Ken Wilber, 2002 in a talk with Johann Munzer (www.vidya.ch/Wilber.htm,
in German):
If you take the great spiritual authors, that is Plato
or Plotin, you will see that when they write about archetypes,
they talk about the way of involution - when Purusha (spirit)
reveals itself in Prakriti (manifestation). The first
step in the manifest world is SPIRIT, then soul, spirit,
body, matter - in this order. This is the Great Chain
of Being.
Thus, the first things that are created in involution
are the archetypes. They are the most subtle of all possible
forms, divine forms on which everything else is based
or from which everything emerges. Therefore, the archetypes
are on the causal level even at the very beginning.
As-is analysis
It is a sort of map as a reflection or mirror image of
two inter-related — interacting — systems,
e.g. people and their hometown, a community/town and its
surroundings, a company and its location, a managing director
and his/her company etc.. This way of observing leads
to self-knowledge, from which certain measures may be
derived. It can also reveal developmental possibilities
through the introduction of additional perspectives. An
as-is analysis is therefore like a thermometer, which
merely displays the temperature. It is the observer himself
who interprets what is being displayed.
Celestial mechanics
A conscious connection with the celestial bodies, taking
into account the site-specific qualities. A "cross",
i.e. a fixed point on the earth, serves as point of reference.
Parallel to that, the course of the luminaries emerges.
It is the cosmic motion through space in expression of
the quality of time, which the celestial body employs
to formulate the specific information. This leads to "cosmic
interweaving" at a certain time at a certain place
in space. This interwovenness with cosmos, or rather with
the cosmic elements, is reflected, among other things,
in geometry.
Consciousness physics
It is described as a branch of modern physics, which deals
with the scientific description of the nature of consciousness
and of reality. It attempts to gain its insights through
systematic research and verify them through empirical
experiments.
Consultant
Norbert Adam sees himself as a neutral, empty observer,
who reflects the situation that reveals itself to him.
He acts as mediator between polarities that he sees as
mutually conditioning.
In his work he draws on spiritual knowledge from different
cultures including the Kabbala, the Tarot, the I Ching,
Tzolkin (Maya), astrology, astronomy, numerology, mythology,
archetypes, psychology, alchemy, Global Scaling, as well
as Chinese (Feng Shui) and European geomantics.
Consultation
In his capacity as neutral, or empty observer, Norbert
Adam thinks comprehensively, thus maintaining the focus
and the view of the greater commonality. This causes a
permanent transformation of any emerging resistance (from
without or from within) by gaining new perspectives, things
stay in flux.
Geomancy/geomantics
The term geomancy, and therefore the profession of geomancer,
has undergone a significant change of meaning and consciousness
in the past 20 years. Nowadays, geomancer usually describes
someone whose aim it is to harmonise human actions and
construction activities with visible and invisible dimensions.
Geomancy is an oracle technique that used to be practised
in various cultures and is still, in some places, practised
today. It can be understood as a reading of the matrix
of life through introspection, in order to gain access
to information, in combination with intuitive insight,
that human beings are generally refused.
Various modern encyclopaedias give the following definitions:
Geomancy (Greek, "divination through the earth "),
the professed art of divination using marks on the earth,
especially dots drawn into the sand without purpose, which
are interpreted as special figures, especially developed
in Arabia. A geomancer is thus someone who practises this
skill. Compare punctuation and divination.
Mantic (mancy), in ancient Greece the art of divination
generally; in current usage, the unveiling of the future
by artificial means, in contrast to divination through
introspection (prophecy) and divine inspiration. One of
the artificial means is the study of natural phenomena
(see also geomancy, astrology, hippomancy, hydromancy,
pyromancy etc.). These methods, which are more closely
related to magic and are not aimed at a voluntary revelation
of higher beings (divination), but rather a forceful uncovering
of fate, are based on the world view of the ancient Babylonians.
They believed that the world is not governed arbitrarily
by a deity, but rather follows a predetermined and unalterable
path that is subject to strict underlying principles.
All things were supposed to be in direct harmony and interaction
with each other and in particular with human beings. By
by-passing the deity, they thus hoped to gain insight
into the fate of the world and of mankind directly from
the state and change of nature. Most of the mantic methods
passed on from antiquity to modern times were already
fully developed in ancient Chaldea.
Geomantic concept
It is the making visible of the identity concept, the
formulation on a larger scale, the projection into space,
or the representation of the whole. It has thus become
comprehensible and visible as one (a coherent whole).
Identity concept
All gathered information and images are combined to make
a whole. The result is an overall picture, an identity,
as a manifestation of the many possibilities. Thus, the
identity concept represents the idea or the impulse.
Implementing elements
Building on the concept of geomancy, these are sensitive
or discreet suggestions in manifold designs for interpretation
at a material level.
Integration/integrative
(from: Latin integer, Greek entagros = untouched, unscathed,
whole)
rebuilding a whole; rebuilding a unity from different
parts; completion; integration into a larger whole. The
state it is in once it has been integrated.
Meta-polarity
It is the conscious "ladling" of the spirit,
from a superordinate perspective, from unity into polarity.
Represented by numbers: From the zero (the infinite, Wu
Chi) via the one (unity, Tao) into the two (polarity,
Yin&Yang). The sum of possibilities is thus maintained,
and there is also no exclusion or the limitation inevitably
linked to it within the polar world. This gives rise to
balance, centredness, stability and harmony, and at the
same time a spiritual connection to the origin (the infinite).
Cf. Volker Ritters, "Raum & Zeit Special Nr.
8 – Verborgene Geometrien, p.52":
The place "beauty" (meta-polarity) is assigned
to the master. Its mission is to overcome the polarities
in creation. It is to overcome these polarities in order
to prepare with its eternal core for the union with God.
Natural oscillation/Singularity
Processes of natural oscillation cannot be suppressed
and thus occupy an important position in the universe.
Natural oscillations take place at the lowest energy level
(i.e. greatest efficiency), while forced oscillations
do not. If one knows the natural oscillations, one also
recognises the superimposed oscillations.
The gaugeable movements of the earth, the sun and the
luminaries give rise to numbers, measurements and their
idiosyncrasies in relation to the infinite. This creates
an opportunity to discover or reveal that which is concealed/occult
– the individuality/singularity (the characteristic
nature). This unique quality is the seed, the core, the
identity that represents the centre of an organism. It
represents the natural oscillation - the self - the singularity.
Radiesthesia
Radiesthesia, which is popularly known by the term dowsing,
has always been of great significance in traditional mining
and in the search for water. It may be described as the
historical predecessor of today’s biocybernetics,
which is the study of the regulation and influencing of
biological systems through energy radiation of materials,
shapes or the underground in the biologically active micrometre
and decimetre wave range. Modern physical radiesthesia,
which originated in aerial physics, now offers precise
measurement and analysis methods. In today’s world,
various oscillations act upon the human being as an organism.
Today, radiesthesia is again considered a basic method
in the construction industry and is often used in preventive
health care and in clarifying natural phenomena in the
area of geomancy.
Tao
Taoism, which was founded by Lao-Tzu (7th century BC),
sees the world in its original state as a harmonious balance
between the two elements (forces) yin & yang. It was
one of the major religions in China alongside Confucianism
and Buddhism. According to Taoism, the world emerged from
an original unity (from one to the ten thousand things).
This original unity is the Tao (Chin.: the absolute —
the way — the word — God). Taoists strive
to bring their life into harmony with the universe, with
nature and eventually to become one with the Tao in consciousness.
Lao-Tzu is also the author of the famous book "TAO
TE - CHING", which today serves as inspiration for
many people.
Thermodynamics, laws of (excerpt)
First: Energy can neither be lost nor gained. Energy cannot
be destroyed. It can therefore be concluded that there
are no energy users and no energy sources in the universe,
only converters or transformers.
Second: There is no machine that can convert heat into
another form of energy completely. Entropy cannot be destroyed.
There is high-quality and low-quality energy. High-quality
energy can do work, low-quality energy cannot. Entropy
can be seen as a measure of chaos.
Time quality & Navigation
By recording all information and possibilities (alpha
to omega), over a predefined period (e.g. one year) exact
points in time for the most efficient connection to the
spiritual qualities will transpire, taking into account
the present archetype and the specific singularity of
the organism. In this way, the spiritual realm is of the
greatest assistance to the material.
Transformation/Neutralization
By changing perspectives, a change occurs from the minor
(lower) to the higher order (noble). This is associated
with a focus on the common greater of the mutually conditioning
polarities. It must be noted that a transformation occurs
in human beings automatically as soon as attention is
directed toward those elements that were previously hidden.
As C. G. Jung puts it:
"To confront a person with their shadow is also to
show them their own light. Someone who perceives their
shadow and their light simultaneously sees themselves
from two sides and thus gets in the middle [...] He or
she knows that darkness and light make up the world. A
person can only dominate this opposition through contemplation
of them both when he or she frees himself from them by
looking at both of them, and thus getting in the middle.
Only there is he or she no longer subject to these opposites."
(German version in Jacobi 1971, p. 142)
Yin & yang
This is an interaction (one could say a mutual relationship)
of two elements. Such mutual relationships can be found
in all processes of oscillation (e.g.: kinetic and potential
energy, voltage and current, pressure and flow velocity).
This in turn means that every process of oscillation has
two opposing properties, i.e. when one value reaches a
maximum, the other value reaches a minimum and vice versa.
Thus these two complementary values create two spectra,
which, although they have to be the same, are out-of-phase
by 90° in their graphic representation (which is familiar
to us from sine and cosine).
